ABOUT US

Get to Know Riverview Gaming Centre

Carla Fox is building on the legacy of the centre’s founder and her father, Henry Vanroboys. “The building was built by my dad and his partners in 1978 as Roller Alley, a roller skating rink. That was a short-lived fad. Dad then decided to venture into charity bingos. We’ve been here over 40 years running as a bingo hall and adapting to the many changes.”

Many changes include Vegas-style machines, electronic bingo and many structural improvements throughout. Classic bingo cards are also available for traditional players.

Currently, we have over 100 registered charities that have volunteers working at the charity bingos. Some, like the Shriners, or Big Brother’s Big Sisters, have a larger volunteer base and can pick up more hours. Yet even smaller organizations can do very well!

We have a great relationship with our charities – they are all doing wonderful things for our community.
